The Royal Thai Navy, through the Department of Naval Civil Engineering, is moving forward with a project to construct a central residential building for navy officers using 136 rai of Bang Khanun National Forest Reserve to construct 46 buildings, each 1-5 stories high, with a total of 795 rooms. There are also shops, a clubhouse, a football field, parking for almost a thousand cars, a waste disposal plant, and a wastewater treatment system. The total construction time is 3 years, with construction starting in mid-2026.
